In the light of the scandal about Cube Entertainment kicking out HyunA and E’Dawn, it seems that the stock value of Cube has dropped heavily as you can see from the image below:
Earlier today reports emerged that Cube Entertainment had chosen to remove HyunA and PENTAGON’s E’Dawn from the agency, due to the couple revealing their two-year relationship to the public recently.
STARNEWS reports that Cube Entertainment has changed their position, saying that the decision to remove the two idols is not final and they are back to the table of negociations, with ongoing discussions about the future of the two in the agency.
Originally, Cube Entertainment released the following statement:
“This is Cube Entertainment.
Cube Entertainment has officially decided to remove our artists HyunA and E’Dawn from the label.
When managing our artists, the company has worked with faith and trust in each other as the main priority.
After numerous discussions, it is with great pain that we have come to the conclusion that it will prove difficult for us to rebuild the broken loyalty and trust between these two artists, HyunA and E’Dawn; so their removal has been decided.
We sincerely thank fans who have been with the two artists all this time.
So basically, Cube Entertainment said, that the secrecy HyunA and E’Dawn kept about their relationship for two years, broke the loyalty and trust between them and the agency. HyunA opened up about her relationship with E’Dawn in a post on Instagram dated August 3.
Afterwards, Cube Entertainment came back on their initial statement, saying:
“We’re simply negotiating HyunA and E’Dawn leaving the label, but it’s not been confirmed. We’ll be discussing it more,”
We look forward to hear more about the development on this subject, waiting for the official statement of Cube Entertainment
Stay tuned for further updates!
